Late last year, I (Leehahn) dropped a r&b remix track on Soundcloud and Vanjess heard the track. We started talking to each other for a collaboration. Using the remix beat as framework, we've developed the track into an original song adding groove, harmony and smooth melody. Vanjess wrote the lyrics about "not going to be the same" over the beat and recorded the vocals in USA.

Vanjess is comprised of Ivana and Jessica Nwokike, an R&B sister duo.
Growing up in Nigeria fostered the beginnings of our (Vanjess) love for music and performing. We both participated in school plays and musicals, sang in church, and started songwriting from the minute we could speak. When we moved to America, we continued to pursue music which eventually led us to Youtube in 2009. Through YouTube we were able to share our passion through posting covers.
