The band Prisma was founded in 2005. The members were introduced to each other during their studies at the academy of music in Würzburg and Berlin.

The band's musical profile is widespread and determined by the shared musical interests as well as by the individual taste of each musician.

The music is characterized by a modern electro-acoustic sound, steps across the borders of the common jazz styles and ranges from lyrical-meditative, almost concertante songs in English and Polish up to powerful, dynamic and interactive improvisations, framed by sophisticated arrangements.
