The sound we have come to expect from Akasha FX is always evolving and in Tri it's the eerie melody that serves as the hook -if you will- to this claustrophobic ride. Liquid sub bass and a rocksteady rhythm section allow subtle, yet tense, chords to mutate into something grander as the affair unfolds and engulfs everything around it with its bleak presence. Yoof picks things up with persistent tones and shuffling percussion, while mangled vocal effects add a dominant touch. As the tension builds, a persistent synth stab makes its appearance and leads us into the shadowy tunnel.
