One might not believe but it has already been one (1!) year since Funkstuff Recordings was established. This time felt very long cause it was quite busy and productive as seen from our 12-EPs/2-compilations-release-list so far. These were rewarding efforts that enabled us to discover tons of good music and to make a lot of new friends.

To properly celebrate the label's birthday we picked some Funkstuff tunes and cooked a lovely dish - the first Essentials compilation. We tried to include the whole palette known from our previous releases, vibes of quite different mood and nature but in the same liquid funk realm that defines our taste and name. Although still infant in the music world, the Funkstuff family is rapidly growing as we continuously manage to draw fresh talents along with established artists.
