14 Days of Greek Pie = Disconnected Retox

Simon Firth shows us just why he is quickly becoming a rising star in the progressive house scene with his newest single on PTR.
14 Days Original mix is a stunning progressive house churner. Brilliant melodies, wonderfully catchy and extremely well executed production is the order of the day here. Definitely one to give a listen to if you're wanting a great opener for a peak-time set in a big room.
Franzis D is up first on the remix duties. His rendition blends in a hint of a trance vibe, while adding in a bit of space to the track.
Skymind gives us the next remix on the release. He brings in a welcomed progressive break-beat groove to the release Really focusing in on the melodies and harmonies Letting the percussion breath and not over power the mix. Really stunning, melodic interpretation.
Up next is Geek Pie. The original mix is s warm, trancie, electro tinged builder. This one really reminds me of releases on Flying Rhino Records from back in the day, almost progressive Goa-ish. Just an outstanding piece of production.
The amazing James Warren is up first to remix Greek Pie. James offers up a downtempo, break-beat chiller. Really the only thing downtempo about this mix is that the drum pattern spaced out similar to 2-step instead of a constant 2/4 or 4/4 time signature. As always James really comes through on his mix. Stellar sound quality and an original interpretation as we've come to expect from Mr. Warren.
Skymind gives us the next remix for Greek Pie. A beautiful trance version, quick paced synth patterns and drum programming. You can almost hear Tiesto
playing this in one of his big, open air sets. Really nice stuff here.
Disconnected is the next track on the release. The original mix is a deep, breathy, chugging progressive house affair. Really well thought out, nice mid-set fodder.
Kris Brown offers up the remix for this song. Quickly becoming a PTR favorite, he shows us just why on this remix. He brings his very original and stylized touch to this remix. Strong bass presence, quirky almost flippant, percussive synth stabs and a well place vocal sample really keeps this mix moving along. This would be well placed mid-stream in any set.
The final track on the release is Retox. Simon's original mix has a great, throbbing bassline, haunting percussion and intense supporting melodies.
The Pushers on remix duties for Retox. Speeding up the throb of the original and really pouring it on with the intensity, they cause a real sense of urgency with the track. Aces rendition here. This one will push any floor into a hedonist frenzy!
