Musically as well as lyrically, it's not far removed from his main group. It's a familiar mix of low-riding gangsta rap, party-ready grooves, hardcore rhymes, and funky beats and bass -- with the bass being emphasized, since Indo G and Three 6 Mafia are from the South. The difference is, Angel Dust stands out because producers Juicy J and DJ Paul are sonic masters and Indo G is a sharp-minded rapper. These factors are enough to make Angel Dust feel fresh, even if the ingredients are familiar.
