I was born in the small town of Bartow, Florida. At the age of thirteen I moved to Miami to live with my father. While living in Miami I experienced the big city life. Education, sports, and music were my main focus. I received a four-year football scholarship to West Virginia Tech. My junior year I decided to drop out and return to Miami to help raise my son. Parenting and music became the direction for me. I knew entertainment was my niche. I began singing with a group called Distinguished Gentlemen. Singing locally, we received great airplay on WEDR 99 JAMZ. This first opportunity confirmed music as my passion. I classify myself as a songwriter, singer, and entertainer. My music style is unique. It is a mixture of New Urban and R&B flavor you are able to groove to. When it comes to live performances I am industry ready. I have performed on the Miami circuit at various clubs of which have been great venues and experience. While in Miami, I have continued my music career by performing and writing songs. I understand the music business is 85% business and 15% talent. With this knowledge, I have invested a great portion of time researching and studying the market. I recently formed my own independent label, Hypeman Entertainment and Mister Charm Publishing. The new single released under the label “TELL ME” is currently getting some positive street buzz.
