Jack Wyles is (Just Seein' Whats Up). He studied with the late legendary bassist and composer Jaco Pastorius, and was leader and executive producer of the Oakland, CA band "In The Pocket!," whose C.D. was put into initial nomination for a Grammy in 1993 for Best New Jazz -Fusion Instrumental Group. His new C.D.draws from the improvisations of jazz as well as the grooves of the street..... It's innovative, emotional, and positive! (Just Seein' What's Up) ranges from funk and hip-hop to swing jazz to rock...from jamming instrumentals to spoken word and rap. It does bend a few genres...
