FivE is an exciting new quartet that is pushing the boundaries of low brass chamber music. One of the first of its kind, this euphonium quartet routinely shatters expectations of what is possible on the instrument. Formed in the winter of 2013, FivE has attracted national attention for their highly unique sound and success at chamber music competitions. Recently, the group won 1st Prize at the Pennsylvania Music Teachers National Association Chamber Music Competition and placed second after advancing to the Eastern Division competition. Previously, FivE was selected as one of twelve ensembles internationally to compete in the 40th Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the largest of its kind in the world. FivE is the first and only euphonium quartet to ever advance to the Fischoff quarterfinals.
