FivE is an exciting new quartet that is pushing the boundaries of low brass chamber music. One of the first of its kind, this group of four euphoniums routinely shatters expectations of what is possible on the instrument. Formed in 2013, FivE has attracted national attention for its unique sound, its entertaining YouTube videos, and its success in the world of chamber music. The group won first prize at the 2014 Pennsylvania MTNA Chamber Music Competition and was earlier selected as one of twelve ensembles from around the world to compete in the 2013 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. The Fischoff competition is the largest of its kind in the world, and FivE is the only euphonium quartet ever to advance to the quarterfinals.
