This is "Thus Far"
Heavily laden with haunting synths, groovy bass lines, syncopated guitar work, and drums deep in the pocket. Stylistically, it is undeniable that Prince, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Isley Brothers, Michael Jackson, Nile Rogers, and Paul Jackson Jr. (to name a few) are deeply embedded in the fiber of every song.
While the influences of these artists are apparent, the album is not limited to one specific genre. Homage is most definitely paid to the highest degree while still revealing to the listener the personality and sounds of a new and modern day artist.
