The concept for "The Shaman" was created while Mingo and Charity were spending time "off the grid" in a remote part of Western Colorado. The photo on the album cover is a petroglyph that was created by the ancient inhabitants who lived in this area.

The album features analog synth layers and tribal percussion. Singing bowls on "Passage" were performed by Charity.

A captivating and sonically fascinating album. The Shaman will take the listener on a journey and transport them in a way that perhaps no other genre of music can.
