A Conversation Piece
Redmark is a rising indie-rock band based in Boise, Idaho. The band members Zack, Drew, Dan, and Jon, have spent the last several years sharing their brand of relevant and well-crafted music throughout the northwest and across the world. Inspired by the story of the people of Israel marking their doors with blood in the book of Exodus, the members of Redmark chose their name to reflect their spiritual and musical calling. Since forming in the spring of 2002, Redmark has evolved constantly in search of the perfect sound and the best way connect with the people they interact. This search led them to create music with a dual lead singer approach, creative guitar riffs, and songs that do not allow listeners to remain apathetic but instead moves them to think about and respond to the lyrical message. When you have a chance to meet the members of Redmark, you will see that they reject the stereotypical rock star image and work to be real with everyone while attempting to communicate their message of hope.
Redmark just released their independent CD titled A Conversation Piece in November 2006, and they are excited to get this new music out to their fans. The songs on this album reflect Redmark’s desire to connect with the people who listen to their music. The CD earned the name A Conversation Piece because many of the songs either formed from conversations had by the song writers or were designed to spark a conversation. Hopefully the music and lyrics of this CD will get you talking! Currently Redmark continues working to bring their music to an ever broadening audience with their philosophy of playing for "anyone, anywhere, anytime.”
