Tim Green is one of the world's most talented saxophonist, producers, and arrangers. A native of Baltimore, Maryland Tim developed a keen ear for music at a young age. At the age of 13, he was accepted to the Baltimore School for the Arts. While attending high school, he was selected to be one of 25 students, out of 500 that applied, to participate in the Grammy All Star High School Jazz Band. This gave him the opportunity at the age of 16 to travel and perform at the Grammy's in Los Angeles, California. In 1998 Tim was invited to participate in the Vail Colorado Jazz workshop and returned in 2004 as an alumni. While there he studied with John Clayton, Jeff Clayton, Terrell Stafford, Bill Cunliff and Herlin Riley.

He received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2004. Tim has submerged himself in music, spending hours studying the styles and techniques of greats like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and others. Tim has been influenced by genres of music such as jazz
