When I was five years old my Grandma made me take piano lessons. I learned to play by ear mostly and started making up little ditties. I learned to play guitar later in my teenager years and started writing songs in my early twenty's. Most of my songs never made it to the recording session but I am planning to revisit some of them in the near future. I am my own worst critic and kept my songs a secret so I only played cover songs in public. This is the first time I actually made a studio recording. It truly is a Long Time Coming for me sharing some of my tunes with the world. There is a story behind every song. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making this album. I was blessed by some extremely talented musicians joining me on this project. I'm quite proud of it. DH
