SILVA is Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, Jennifer Silva Lipari. A naturally soulful vocalist, she has been belting tunes for family and friends since childhood. Introduced to the music of Sam Cooke and The Animals at an early age, SILVA has always gravitated toward emotional lyrics and a soulful sound. She developed her ear, listening to strong powerhouse vocalists like Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Joni Mitchell, Billie Holiday, Tori Amos, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Adele, Sia and St. Vincent. She studied theatre and communications at the University of Rhode Island and upon graduation, moved to New York City.

For several years, SILVA worked in the entertainment industry, holding positions at Dreamworks Records, The Howard Stern Show, The Daily Show and Playboy Enterprises, International, Inc.
