Urubu is a live percussion ensemble, supplemented by saxophone, flute, vocals, digeridoo and marimba. The group was started by Seth Newman who is both a great percussionist and dance leader. The group perform at regular live ecstatic dance events in London where their unique sounds is forever developing and changing. At the time of the album recording the group consisted of Seth Newman, Tadeusz Pałosx, Ian Ritchie, Neil Huxtable, Mike Searl, Quinto Grigatti and Tamagnini Mascarenhas.The live events incorporate Ecstatic Dance, Bioenegetics, Shaking Medicine, Art Of Being.
