Jazzy Music for Movie Soundtracks

"JAZZY MUSIC FOR MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS" is the new digital download release from Jack Wyles.

Jack studied bass and music theory from the late, great Jaco Pastorius, as well as saxophone from Post Bop player Mel Martin. His influences vary widely from Miles Davis ("I love Miles' sense of space and groove") to the Beatles ("they used the recording studio as an instrument, and you can hear how much fun they were having!")

Jack has put together a collection of songs that all have a jazzy feel. The styles range from Zappa and Miles fusion to Ornette Coleman free jazz and Brian Eno spacey. The songs are very visual, and are meant to be used for movie soundtracks.

Jack supplies all of the saxophone, most bass and keyboards, as well as production and engineering on the album. He also arranged all samples (royalty free) and sound effects.

All songs are written by Jack, except "Mystery Walk", which is co-written with Juanita Wyles. Juanita also played some of the keyboards on Mystery Walk.
