At every turn, KL-based band Furniture attempts to strike an elusive balance between bold invention and comforting familiarity in its music. The search for this very balance set the band on its way to constructing its sophomore album They Made Me Out Of Dreams You’ve Forgotten.

Five years of writing, rehearsing and road-testing sees the band diverging from the atmospheric post-rock/shoegaze sound of its debut Twilight Chases The Sun, focussing instead on exploring conventional song structures as a catalyst for invention. The resulting output showcases new music that is more rhythmically and vocally driven while still marrying the epic and sweeping foundation the band has built on their debut, creating a sound that is uniquely Furniture.
