Stepper was formed in Montréal, Québec by members and former members of General Rudie, Planet Smashers, Kids Eat Crayons and Interstellar Root Cellar. In the summer of 2008 Stepper was invited by Grammy-Award winning producer George Massenburg to record with him at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The resulting album, “Way Out”, was independently released in 2009.
