Roman Messer
A new star shines in the sky of trance music - his name is Roman Messer, and his shine is getting brighter every day.Hailing from Russia, Roman has made an impressive music career over the course of just a couple years. Ever since his first big hit, "Come Home", which was featured on Roger Shah's "Magic Island vol. 4" compilation in late 2012, the trance land has seen Roman's music getting released on Trance All-Stars, Euphonic, Black Hole and Armada to name a few - both as standalone releases and as a part of compilations. However, it's not just about someone else's labels for Roman - with his own vision of how trance music should sound like in mind, he successfully runs his very own label Suanda Music and performs A&R duties for one of the most well-known and respected trance labels in Russia, TranceMission. The aforementioned Suanda Music has already attracted quite an attention from trance listeners all around the world, with releases from this label receiving support from names like Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren ("Tune Of The Week" on his A State Of Trance, no less!). In addition to that, Roman Messer's first disc in what's promising to be an annual series of compilations, called "Suanda History", was released in November, being exclusively presented by Russia's #1 DJ, DJ Feel, on Radio Record. As a DJ, Roman frequents trance festivals all around his home country, playing alongside Chicane, Christian Burns, Estiva and DJ Feel to name a few - the well-known "TranceMission" festival is certainly a highlight of his career. When in Saint-Petersburg, you can regularly find him in the city's night clubs, where he makes sure the crowd on the dance floor never gets bored.2014 looks even more promising for Roman - having presented a collaboration work with British vocalist Christina Novelli called "Frozen" in January and an official remix for the soon-to-be-classic "Lasting Light" featuring vocals of renowned Emma Hewitt, he's got much more in store, working with Ridgewalkers, Aurosonic, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Yuri Kane and many others on collab tracks, remixes and label arrangements. Not showing any intention to stop in his path, Roman Messer is surely one to keep an eye on.
