DJ Drama
American hip-hop DJ, born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Drama relocated to Atlanta, GA in the mid nineties to attend Clark Atlanta University. Becoming the DJ for the underground formation Binkis. Parting ways with Binkis, and forming The Aphilliates, together with DJ Sense and Don Cannon in 2003 (the three are all natives of Philly, and as Atlanta transplants, chose that name), the crew expanded to include DJ Jamad, DJ Ox Banga, and DJ Jaycee. Further expanding with Atlanta's DJ Infamous (not to be confused with Miami's Infamous of The Allies), DJ Holiday and both DJ Young Mase and DJ Head Debiase in Michigan. DJ Drama is the official DJ for Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I., but is most well-known for his "Gangsta Grillz" Mixtape series, which in 2006 earned him a spot on Atlanta's HOT107,9 station with "Gangsta Grillz Radio", as well as the launch of his debut album "Gangsta Grillz: The Album" on Atlantic in 2007.
