Aiono recently finished his national tour, playing 47 shows throughout North America in support of Disney/Hollywood Records power pop band R5. This Summer, Alex will perform at the Crazy Series Concert, opening for Owl City and Hot Chelle Rae in Atlanta, GA and Cody Simpson and Austin Mahone in Los Angeles, CA. Alex writes and sings with a soulful integrity that we are conditioned not to expect from a teenager; but he delivers it with the innocence and depth. Alex combines his Polynesian musical heritage with his passion for EDM, R&B and the traditional lyric driven singer-songwriter. His new single, "Doesn't Get Better," was released in March and its music video premiered soon after on RyanSeacrest.com. A blend of kick drum energy, piano, ukelele, banjo, gang-style background vocals and unexpected vocal and lyrical depth, "Doesn't Get Better" has independently taken a life of it's own. The song was just picked up and placed into heavy rotation on SiriusXM's 20 on 20 station and the video to MTV HITS
