The band was formed in 1999, and was originally known as Uirapuru, under which name they released two demos: Here Comes The Life and Flames Of Trinity. In 2005, the band released their debut album Luxaeterna through Scarecrow Records / Marquee Avalon. On January 24, 2007, the band announced the addition of guitarist Gustavo di Padua. Their second album Shambala was released in Japan on September 21, 2007.HistoryAquaria debuted under the name Uirapuru, the Brazilian Portuguese name for the Musician Wren, in 2000, releasing their first EPs Here Comes the Life and Flames of Trinity in 2001. The title track of "Here Comes the Life" and "And Let the Show Begin" would later be included in their debut album under the name Aquaria, Luxaeterna. Between the release of Luxaeterna and Shambala, guitarist Gustavo di Padua joined the group and the band recorded Shambala, including the bonus track "Neo" featuring JAM Project members Ricardo Cruz and Hironobu Kageyama performing entirely Japanese vocals.
