Corey Andrew

Corey Andrew released his debut CD, We're all Stars in 2004. The collection of original soul influenced rock tracks immediately drew comparisons to Lenny Kravitz and Seal. With growing internet radio support and international sales through top download sites such as iTunes, and Musicmatch, Corey found a worldwide audience. That same year Corey was approached by some of Europe's best electronic dance music producers to collaborate as a writer and featured vocalist. His first collaboration was the dark and sexy electro track Ntensity with famed German music producer, DaHool (Meet her at the love parade). The Patric la Funk remix of Ntensity became a DJ favorite throughout Germany. With such success, the official teaming of Corey Andrew and Patric la funk was inevitable. Their debut collaboration was the 2005 killer dance floor hit, You Never Know released on Opaque Music. Soon to follow, additional remixes of You Never Know by Tune Brothers and super producer Jerry Ropero made the play lists of top international Dj’s including and a top selling dance compilation (Instinct –Love & Pride) on EMI Germany. \r \r In 2006, Corey released the Moroccan inspired dance track, Try on the popular Italian dance label, Oxyd Records. Produced by the duo Dagio, the dance hit boasted big remixes by Moussa Clark (UK) and Lovemakers, making the play lists of big international spinners like David Vendetta (France), Noir (Denmark). Try landed in DJ Friction’s top 5 Chart on his BBC radio mix show. Later in the year, Corey’ success with Try opened up the door for yet even more collaborations with Europe’s finest. First was Get Up, an electro-bop dance track collaboration with Decaff (Noir) distributed by Pure Funk Records in Portugal. The Record faired well and was licensed to a Canadian dance compilation. His second collaboration with Noir, Music makes everything alright was quickly signed to the Tune Brothers label, Sume Records in Germany. This time around, mega producer Eddie Thoneick was brought on board for a remix, resulting in bigger sound and bigger exposure for Corey as a songwriter, artist and vocalist to be reckoned with. \r \r With his star rising in Europe, Corey felt it was finally time to work with talented producers home, in New York City. Reaching out some of the DJ’s that had supported his records, Corey reached out to the Pacha NY resident DJ/Producer Exacta and soon found himself in the studio with Exacta recording some of his hottest tracks yet. The first, Lost in Music is currently being remixed by some big surprise names, and has already gained major support from Superstars such as David Guetta and Roger Sanchez. It is scheduled for release in August 2007 on Exacta’s new label, Double Frequency Records.
